CUHR
The Conference for Undergraduate Health Research
The Conference for Undergraduate Health Research (CUHR) is a 2-day academic conference for undergraduates to showcase their research work and engage in the scientific discourse.
Developed by the Undergraduate Health Research Exploration (UHRE) program at York University, CUHR recognizes our students as the next-generation of health scientists and challenges future transformational leaders to showcase their work and experience the collaborative nature of the academic community. CUHR provides the opportunity to connect with established research leaders in the field through keynote events, networking opportunities, and award recognition.
We invite students to submit their abstracts for consideration from February 1st, 2022 to April 11th, 2022.
CUHR will be held May 27 - 28, 2022

CUHR 2022:
Agents of Change
CUHR's inaugural theme, Agents of Change, seeks to bring a group of next-generation health researchers as transformational leaders in science. CUHR is a unique opportunity for future leaders in health science to showcase their existing work in this field, to engage in scientific discourse, and to experience the collaborative nature of the academic community.
All presenters are encouraged to reflect on the ideas and motivations behind their research work. We encourage going beyond lab and to share your bold ideas for the future of health research.
Our theme is inspired by the Agents of Change program at York University, who has generously supported the development of CUHR, and it’s parent organization, the Undergraduate Health Research Exploration (UHRE) program
-
Experience.
At CUHR we recognize that health is a broad and multi-faceted topic. CUHR gives students a chance to experience the interdisciplinary nature of health research by inviting participants from a broad range of study. We encourage presenters to participate in discussions outside of their field of study as well!
-
Connect.
CUHR invites students and faculty alike to our conference, locally and internationally, opening up possibilities for our presenters. Our presenters will have the opportunity to showcase their work to active researchers and receive feedback on their work. Participants further have the opportunity to connect with peers from a wide range of disciplines!
-
Inspire.
Our inaugural theme “Agents of Change” is an homage to you, the future transformational leaders in health research. Inspire with your work, and be inspired by current researchers and passionate keynote speakers who are excited to meet you!
