UHRE
Undergraduate Health Research Exploration
The UHRE program
UHRE is a student-led initiative with the generous support of York University’s Agents of Change program, and the Faculty of Health. Our organization recognizes that as health researchers, we tackle questions that fundamentally impact our communities. We believe that in order to holistically address the problems of modern health, we must encourage as many people as possible to engage with health research. UHRE aims to strengthen the body of next-generation researchers in order to drive a diverse scientific body in service of the communities we serve. To that end, we provide resources and other opportunities that facilitate equitable access for students to get involved and engaged with health research.
If this vision resonates with you, we invite you to participate in our engagements, and collaborate with our team!
“Our organization fosters curiosity and dedication to health sciences through an annual Research Exploration Summit, our Research Mentorship Matching Program (URMP), a Health Research Newsletter and an annual international Conference for Undergraduate Health Research (CUHR).”
